Paranoid squirrel . . .

I was walking along this morning on my walk down to the river and saw this squirrel just sitting there eating.
I grabbed my camera from my pocket and got off the first shot.
Then, it scrambled up the tree and hid pretty good between the branches but I found it anyway.
Finally, it moved again and I got another shot!

That was a neat catch! I seldom manage to get those, but we don't have many where I live. The best one I have was caught in London UK!

PS Thank you for the nice comments - a digital camera is indeed an economic blessing. For the five "slush" pictures I too more than twenty exposures, with two different cameras. One a small compact.

Next time he'll have a little hat down there at the base of the tree for contributions like a little busker. These are great shots. Squirrels are fun.

Poor little thing! it's so cold outside , it's difficult to find something to eat, and you come with your camera to hunt a picture...Ü!!
By the way, this morning on TV, they spoke of state Washington, USA;The pictures showed big and impressive floods, rivers out of their banks, houses destroyed...people had to go away; I hope it is not in your side of the state?Pictures were really scary..

Nice capture and a good eye to see it. Where is all the snow?

That little squirrel definitely wasn't going to let anything get in the way of his meal! No matter how many photos you took, he kept at his nut!

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
