Iris blooming in July!!!!!!!!
Last week when I was at the park for Saturday Farmers Market, I spied these delicate purple Iris. Now, I was almost shocked as it is long past Iris season but . . . there they were, many plants blooming in several spots near the old Slocum House which is now a theater. Of course, I had to take a few photos. . . isn't God good?!?

- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

My bearded iris succumbed quickly to the first heat wave this year--which was early. Your summer is cooler, and maybe these are hardier than the beardeds.
I like the deep violet among the green of leaves. It must be wet around you if they are still blooming!
Now THAT's AMAZING and lovely too. Purple is my favorite color and I love irises but mine showed up EARLY in March and have been gone for months! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,
