I thought this was the neatest composition for a photo! I love old fallen trees and the new blooming flower (maybe it's an Indian Paint Brush?) highlighted against it. This was on one of our hikes at Mount Rainier.
I am learning to use a PC computer in the rec room to blog. A young girl visiting her Grandma here taught me how to upload three photos so I will have two more blog posts in the next few days. When I learn how to do it by myself, I will be able to get back to our camping trip. . . but actually these photos are from the camping trip but not with the narrative I was going to use. I am just so happy to be able to use this computer until I can fix my own or buy a new one. Thank you for your patience. I will try to get around to visit other blogs asap. Our heat wave of 105 today says stay indoors to me -- it is expected to last up to 5 more days with hot temperatures so I will have time to learn how this PC works. I hope!

A very beautyful picture, full of poetry! you could use it as postcard!
It's also very hot here. I'm longing to autumn and rain!
Nice to see you are getting along! Dried wood combined with colourful spots makes for great photos.
I think it's Indian Paintbrush too and I like it growing by the log.
Wow, it is hot there! I'm glad you are able to blog a little with the rec computer. I like this picture.
I agree . . . the red flowers against the fallen tree are stunning.
I love this. It looks like an odd shot to me! LOL Love the contrast of the red against it. Good job.
I really like the contrast of the green, red-orange, and light gray in this photo. Eye pleasing hues, in my opinion.
I'm glad that they have a computer there for you to use...how convenient!
I am glad that person came along! That is a gorgeous shot. Her kindness made my pleasure possible. I am grateful.
Yes, we knew it as Indian Paintbrush, but with so many variations they now call them by there colors and this one is Scarlet Paintbrush.
