Stairs to more natural beauty
When you have a digital camera, one tends to take photos of things you might not ordinarily take if you were printing them. I like stairs! These look so natural in this setting. AND what is this setting? I am not sure as I just chose it in a hurry when a young girl was teaching me how to load photos from my camera on the PC upstairs in the community room. I think it might be on the way to the island where the huge old trees were which I have temporarily forgotten the name of again. For this post, it doesn't matter. Just focus on the artistic stairs highlighted by the flowers on the side and enjoy!

- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Now you have taken a photo that reminds me of Malyss - there is some poetry here. Where are these delicate, but sturdy stone steps leading?
Like you, I love stairs. I think they often make beautyful pictures , and open the mind to many stories..
(I left a comment below this morning, but it seems it did not work. I was just telling that I liked your picture very must, found it very artistic.)
Could it be the Stairway to Heaven? ;-)
Aren't digital cameras just the best? Old, earthy subjects are the best, and I love that flowers that may be weeds stand out against the green.
I love these stairs. "Stairway to Heaven" is what I would call it. It makes me feel cool so maybe you should keep staring at it to cool off! LOL Sorry you have had so many problems with cameras & computers. I got mine worked on last year for around $95 & they had a really hard time with it. You have taken some beautiful photos. I especially liked the heart shaped green leaf but then I am partial to hearts. Sorry I have not commented sooner. Just been really busy.
I love the natural stone steps. It looks so serene and peaceful there. I know you're going through a real heat wave, but it also looks cool there.
I'm visiting from Martha's blog and must tell you that I enjoy your photos. I especially like to take pictures of stairs (I always find the perspective so interesting) so I thought I'd comment to you here. Have fun with your new digital!
These remind me of stairs in Central Park that were carved from the natural ledge. Beautiful, Paulie.
Wonderful composition and I would only be able to suggest where it might be by which pictures it is between in your file. I see lupine and sitka valerian growing by the steps.
(Seeing other commenters, I might suggest that it is a stairway at Paradise.)
