About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

In China, there once was a tribe that was thinking that moon was a god.But when the first men walked on the moon, they could not believe that anymore. As their believing was the cement of the tribe, the tribe disappeared with the believing...
The moon is a tough subject. For me, you have captured the cool dampness of a Nov. evening as well as the lady herself!
Great picture. Those moon shots are hard to get. But I think they are so awesome looking.
We had cloud cover last night, but it was still very bright. (nice night for the hot tub!) Good picture.
Wow, what detail is in this photo even without enlarging. Must have been a very clear night.
What are you up to these days my friend? I have been emailing your Huntsville friend. We haven't met yet but will soon. She invited me to an all day cardmaking event on Saturday. Unfortunately, I had a prior obligation. I wish I could have gone.
We had a magnificent moon this afternoon - I tried and I tried and I tried - and so far that was that :-(
Paulie,
Thanks for your commment and your follow-up on my blog post re dad and the military. I appreciate that. You are right; I was looking at lessons learned in the context of parenting. Also, the effects of these lessons in school. I am intrigued by the feedback. Thanks for being such a meaningful part of the conversation.
Wonderful shot! I’ve tried many times to capture the moon, usually w/o much success. I got busy with my camera yesterday afternoon and took lots of photos of the full moon and a few of the glorious sunset over the ocean with silhouetted palm trees, but I’ve not yet taken time to download them so I don’t know if any are good yet or not.
Hugs and blessings,
