ODD SHOTS MONDAY

Today's Flowers is below

If you want to join ODD SHOTS, see Katney

There isn't much odd about a barn BUT this one on 78th in Vancovuer collects signs. . . In fact, there are a couple of ad memorabilia that aren't signs -- they stand beside the barn! CLICK to see the signs on barn. I think it is very odd to cover your barn with advertisement signs.

Beers ans other drinks, food, cars..One thing is sure, the barn belongs to a man!!
Maybe he gets paid everytime he puts a sign!!...

There are scrapbook pages, and then there are sides of barns. I like this!

The barn has an excellent oof - perhaps he just wanted to cover the gaps. Put a life-long hobby to use.

Depends on what they're paying! At least it's not their house, lol...

I think it is kinda neat. It reminds me of patchwork except for the KFC oddity! LOL Check out mine.

that KFC cup is especially odd!

We are all collectors of one thing or another. Before long, you probably will only see signs, and no beautiful barn!

Odd alright, but also very interesting! It would be entertaining to look at all those old signs, I think. The KFC bucket is a hoot!

Thank you for visiting My Manila and leaving a comment! Happy Odd Shot Monday!

Those old signs are worth quite a lot, too.

I think the barn is really neat. Rock City used barns for advertising for years.

Well, it certainly makes for a great landmark ~ or conversation starter! I like the vintage Dads Rootbeer sign. Takes me back...

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
