Blog Your Blessings Sunday

If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther

My blessing this week is autumn's arrival. A few days last week, I could have sworn that summer was still upon us because Indian Summer was l strutting it's warmth.
Now, the nights are chilly and I finally was forced to shut the windows that I had opened when the first days of spring arrived and hadn't closed since. Now, I am thrilled when the temperature rises during the day and hits 50!

Most of all. I now eagerly watch the trees changing colors and enjoy the spectacular beauty the colored leaves provide for me before the cold winter signals its arrival.
This weekend, I saw pumpkins in street gardens and at the Farmer's Market.
I saw sunflowers in full bloom!
I have to admit that AUTUMN is officially here.

POST SCRIPT. . .

With God's help, I finished the other quilt in time. It isn't perfect but it's finished and will warm one little girl it was made for.

That other quilt you finished is amazing. Just beautiful, my friend.

Thanks for sharing these autumn views from your side of the country. They are gorgeous. I really like the way you capture the strangely soft yet intense light of autumn.

God bless.

Autumn is my favourite time of year... and those are great photos for a great blessing...

...but I do disagree with you on one thing...

If I may quote, It isn't perfect but it's finished and will warm one little girl it was made for.

If it warms a child and makes her happy, you couldn't ask for more perfection in my eyes.

Thanks for sharing your ‘autumn’ photos with those of us who seldom (if ever) see such changes in our neighborhoods. The quilt is lovely and I also enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL Friday night images in the previous post!
Hugs and blessings,

I like the crisp mornings of autumn, the warm days, the cool evenings and the beautiful colors. Late spring is my favorite season.
This quilt is also beautiful.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
