My Friday Nite Sky . . .

I was running errands most of the day and when I sat down at my last bus stop, this is what I saw.

The sun was going down on a nice day (without rain) but with a high of only 49.
This is the first time I have ever been able to photograph the sunset in a frame and I love how it turned out.
This was Friday's moon at dusk not using flash.
The moon again a half hour later using flash.

You must have an awfully powerful flash! ;-)

Natural framing very often improves pictures no end. As you have shown.

The flash will certainly not light up the moon but on some cameras having the flash engaged will slow the shutter speed.

Days are getting shorter. Be careful of timing your errands so you don't spend too much time out in the dark.

Beautiful sunset!
I met my neighbor on the other side today. She had been making Christmas cards and invited me into her craft room to see. I couldn't help but think of you, my friend.

Nice job on those pictures. Sunset and the moon (great shots of the moon) that's hard to get.
Love the framed sunset view.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
