CLICK ON TO see details,I have no idea what this flower is so if you know, please tell me. I love its pointy tips on each petal and the way the sun has caught the back of the petals. The one bent petal is flooded with sunlight! The delicate flowers in the center stand out as does the lines of yellow or orange on the petals. There's so much beauty to observe in this flower that one knows only God could have made the original!

I'm sorry that I can't help you with the name of the flower, but I can share your delight of its beauty.
It looks like it could be a Coreopsis aka Tickseed. They grow wild around my cottage in late spring and early summer. The butterflies are very attracted to them!
I love the play of sun and shadows on the leaves. I don't know the name.

What a great shot the color is superb. Love how that one pedal is turned over.
I think it may be an orange cosmos, though I can't be sure without seeing some foliage. Very pretty color, whatever it is!
