Blog Your Blessings Sunday

If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther

This week I received this envelope in the mail . . .stuffed. It had a piece of paper in it for which I was to fill out and return. It had a deadline of November 4th.

I walked down to the drop in vote box and did it today. Voting is not only a right and a responsibility but a blessing!

I've done my part. . . after listening to the candidates and reading what I could, I tried to use my best judgement of who would serve best in each office on the ballot. Locally, I believe any of the candidates from either party would do a good job so I voted "my party" this time. I am a person who switches if I know someone from "the other party" would be the best for all of us but this time, it was pretty even.

Of course, when voting for the President of the United States, I generally go with "my party." This time I wasn't so sure at first but the running mates came into play this time for me when making my decision. No matter who wins the election, I pray that they will be God fearing and keep our country safe. I respect the office even if my candidate doesn't win. Just to know I have the privilege to vote IS the blessing!

It most definitely is a blessing! Good for you for doing your part. It's important that we make the most of this opportunity and not squander our responsibility and our freedom.

It's sure, to have the right to vote is really a great thing and a lot of people seem to forget it in democraties.
In France , we hear a lot about the election of the US president. But the way you vote is so different from our!
We have only one day for voting, and only one kind of election this day, so the paper to choose is quite small, with only one name writen on it...To vote in the USA seems very complicated seen from here

Good for you for casting your vote already. Like you I hope that all Americans take this election seriously and participate ... that they vote (not out of fear) but rather out of clear-headed intention so that the nation can recover from the 'mess' we're in currently ... no matter who's in charge.
Hugs and blessings,

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
