Bees on the BLUE Beauty

Once again, I don't know the name of the flower but I just call it blue beauty. . . I liked catching the bees on it! CLICK to see this beautiful flower and bees better.

Hi, Perbs

I agree with the name, blue beauty is complete and well deserving.

This is a pretty flower. I don't know that I've ever seen it before.

We finally got some rain today, it has been a while. A good day for a nap and a cup of tea.

I picked cotton, too. It was just part of life. For a while, during the polyester double knit phase, we didn't see cotton growing much. It has come back and I am glad. I love seeing it this time of year after they've sprayed the leaves with defolient and just before they pick it. I made these photos early last last week. this field has now been picked and the stalks cut down.

Hi, thanks for your comment! I feel better knowing that other people agree with me!
I found your blog through
a bog I visit, poetry daily -http://www.jugioli.blogspot.com/, which is a great photo-art-poetry blog-that posted the Flower Today photo, then started looking at other flower photos and got hooked!
Have a great week!

This time, I can't help you, I've got nothing like that on my side of the world..
Anyway, this blue is very seldom and very pretty

Great series of shots with the bee. I don't care for bees generally, but you made this one look very nice!

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
