Another mural . . .

Our town has several murals on its walls downtown and elsewhere. This one isn't finished yet. . . it is downtown. I still like the WW2 ones best and also the "photo" of Main Street one. They sure spruce up old buildings. I am kinda disappointed in the results of the Turtle Place one but maybe the area will make up for it when it is complete. Pearson Airfield here was named for the aviator and his photo is painted on the side of a building in down town also.

This one is less beautyful that the other you showed before.The painting looks like being made by children.Anyway, it puts colors in the town, and that is always a good thing;

I wonder: do they commission artists to paint these? This one is very bright and colorful.

Hope you feel better today, Wednesday.

I love it when they paint murals on old downtown buildings and such. It improves the look of the whole area.
Ps: Yes we are military, my husband has been in for about 30 some years. It's been a blessing to us. As for the spelling on the ticket - who knows what they were thinking.

I like to see these murals but haven't seen many. This one is colorful and interesting.

That's a beautiful mural. I love the way color can transform a wall into pure delight and fun.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
