Do you see what I see?

I don't know what kind of bird this is--maybe Katney will tell me sometime. I was so surprised that I actually caught it.

Looks like a Mockingbird. You must have a good zoom.

I'm not really too up on my ornithology, but it is a lovely looking creature!

It's either a Clark's Nutcatcher or a Gray Jay. They are related and very similar. I get them mixed up. Both have the nickname "Camp Robber" and I had one take off with a strip of bacon once.

He looks like a happy little bird whatever he may be, great photo.

I posted a few more dragonflies and a damselfly as well.

Hope you have had a great weekend,
SQ

Great catch! I'll have to take a look at little piXie's field guide. Oh, I see Katney's already identified him. LOL, about the bacon!

Could not tell you. If I can see a bird flying, then I MAY be able to tell you from the shape of it, but that's it. Beautiful day by the looks of it. Have the best week.

Yes I see ;--)
I've enjoyed catching up with your recent flower and sky photos. You do live in a lovely place and work wonders with your camera.
Hugs and blessings,

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
