A little further down the trail, I heard this loud noise, almost like singing coming from the sky above me. When I looked up, I saw the source of the music. . . lots of birds in the tree probably singing a snow song just for me/or griping about yet another snowfall. I mean, it has snowed 15 times this winter so far! (Yes I keep track!) This is an unusual winter for Vancouver where we usually get rain instead of snow. Anyway, here's some of those providing music for my snow trek that day.

Wetlands are always neat to go too, never know what you will find there
I hear the music, my friend. These are really beautiful. Those wetlands must be a brilliant source of floral life at the other end of the calendar!

the wetlands are strange places, were ghosts and fairies usually live...And I'm always wondering how such little birds can survive in the cold and snowy winters, and more, seem to be happy of it!
I'd LOVE to walk that area with you! I bet it's splendid. It's nice there's a path...but I'd likely stray. ;-)
