Odd Shots

If you want to join ODD SHOTS, see Katney

This isn't the best shot -- in fact it is out of focus on the smaller duck. What is odd about it is the water around these two ducks. It almost looks like they are frozen in some type of cement structure. The thing that shows it isn't is the reflection of the duck in the water. I think that is what I was trying to capture whn the smaller duck showed up but I snapped it anyway.

I apologize to katney for not linking back. When I get back to my apartment, I will do so because I can't figure how to copy something on the PC computer. So sorry!

It seems you have picked up the local maelstrom! Or maybe one of the ducks had just ducked?

Very nice... I do love a ripple, or two...

It looks like light snow on a plowed field.

Hi Paulie! I wasn't sure what you meant on my blog with all the parenthases around my name. Then there was a deleted post. Was that you?

That's so strange! I've never seen such a clear reflection with so many ripples before. Great find.

You're right about the effect. It almost like a plaid design.

Rings upon rings, and they do seem stationary, Paulie! These are great. Like a ringing ceremony. Maybe they're high school juniors!

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
