This is our resident squirrel at my apartment building. Some of the Russian ladies that live here feed the squirrels every day so they are not afraid of the hand that feeds them. I was walking up to the front entrance and it wasn't about to move so I could go by. . . so I took out my camera!
This once beautiful bird bath has a squirrel in it too! I almost saved it for ODD SHOTS because there is no visible base but decided it fit in with the rest of today's squirrels.
I arrived at Kiggins House to take photos of my daily updates and was met by this little guy, He ran from me at first but that nut in his mouth must have been too good to lose or wait for so it stopped and ignored me and my camera!

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

It was your squirrel day!
How lovely!!I love them!there are so cute and funny!
Love that first shot of the squirrel, he's really enjoying himself! They are very active here at the moment gathering nuts.
CUTE ...
Those autumn leaves on my WW photo are not THIS autumn .. it was taken in Connecticut about 2 yrs ago end of November
We dont get fall foliage like that here in NYC

Hi, they are interesting to watch. We have one at the new house and I am researching baffles for the feeder. I try to keep seed in a skillet on the deck rail and that keeps him busy but when it is gone, he goes back to the feeder. Smokey likes to watch the Squirrel. I am going to buy a feeder for him, too. One of the kind you put a whole ear of corn on. Honey Bear is going to ask if he can gleam some from the fresh harvested fields nearby.
I've been off line and am catching up. I'll be back to read more of your posts later.

Cute squirrel shots! They are such pests around here but I do enjoy catching one on camera.
Fun little post. Those little guys can really be funny!
There was something endearing about the one resting on his stomach while eating.
LOL i love the squirrely day photos
OH I LOVE how he is stretched out in that first shot!!
Great pictures of the squirrels paulie! Their tails remind me of the tail of one of our cats...all fluffy and furry.
