Spot of beauty . . .
I have no idea if this was a flower, now spent, or is a weed BUT thought it was beautiful especially with the bark background. Aren't the leaves just the cutest thing? OOPS! I passed by that spot today and the background is a telephone pole. . . which I guess was a tree once upon a time. Ü

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

The flowers and the leaves gives a many-coloured pattern against the dark wall - very nice.
BTW. My first (own) digital camera was an Olympus C-990 bought in January 2001. It was sturdy, had quality optics with a nice zoom and I was very satisfied with it. However, with "only" 2.3 Mpx it was rather limited if you wanted to crop or enlarge and it had no USB connection. It is still being used from time to time and you will find pictures in my blogs taken with it, for instance this one.
Paulie,
The fruit seems so large on that plant, yet it holds up just fine!
I never saw such flowers, but picture is pretty
I love my 10 power zoom, too, but am tending to favor the newer camera with more megapixels and compact size. I'd love to find--and afford--something with the best of both.
I thought it was a fence. Nice shot.
I thought it was fruit also until I enlarged the picture. It's pretty and I don't recognize it but the leaves look very familiar..almost like marigold maybe.
LOL, I DID talk about the cameras and not the flowers. That just shows how distractable I am. They may be flowers or they may be weeds, but my Dad the ag man said "A rose is a weed if it's where it doesn't belong." These look like they belong fine, and I am sticking to that story till someone proves otherwise!
