Pumpkin delight. . .
Wonder what will happen to this pumpkin next month? Will it be a great tasting pie or a jack o lantern for some kid's delight? This old neighborhood grows their gardens in the little area between the sidewalk and the street. I hope no one runs off with it before the family can harvest it.

- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

That's a lovely one! I knew a woman who would use her pumpkin as a jack-o-lantern and then cook it! Just scraped out the wax. Not my bag, but I guess it's possible for a pumpkin to multi-task--like the rest of us!
Wow! Pumpkins already! It's hard to believe! :D
Wow, how great is that to grow your own pumpkin. I'm thankful I don't have to grow my own food - everytime I try a little garden - it fails. I'm not ready to give up yet. I need a lot a practice.
Thank the Lord, for Publix.
We don't have pumpkins (I think) - it looks impressive! The pie must be a treat.
PS The picture was from a Ferris wheel called London Eye (in the UK) and taken last week. I was in the gondola below. A round-trip takes 30 minutes and is a treat not to be missed. I have got the central part of London well covered (50 pics?)
I sure hope no one steals it. A couple years ago I grew some small pie pumpkins. We had no use for them so I piled them by the road and put a "free" sign up. It was really fun watching people stop and get the pumpkins. They would always glance at the house like they felt they were stealing. (especially when they took more than one)
Oh that is a big pumpkin, i guess it will take on a whole new look next month
Hey, hey, Halloween is coming soon..
Unfortunatly, people don't celebrate Halloween in France; It's difficult here to find pumpkins. They are made only to be eaten. It's a pity, because I like them!
OH, this is just such a nice Fall shot! Love it!!
Its a nice size and I like the coloring on it.

A friend of mine used to grow pumpkins and we loved watching them all summer long. I also hope no one takes it. Keep us informed about it!
