Golden beauty of a Sunflower
This is the first Sunflower I have seen this year. It's petals are so pretty! It was near the park where I go to see the Kiggins House re-model taking place. I should make a point to travel to my old neighborhood of last summer to see if that family planted a huge garden of Sunflowers again this year. . . They remind me of growing up. We always had a row or two of sunflowers in the garden. We picked out the seeds and put them in salt water overnight and then dried them. YUM!

- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Thanks for your comment on my "Autograph" post. Yes, now you know why I haven't been blogging... I was vacationing and having an exciting time being a groupie. I still can't stop smiling about it.
That one is beautiful, Paulie. It looks like it will never grow old and fade. Nicely photographed.
How pretty it is! I love sunflowers.
Paulie that is not a bench in the picture I posted today. It's a wall.
It looked gorgeous to me - no wonder they are called sun-flowers!
This is really the symbol for summer and sunny light
That is beautiful - I can't wait till the ones I planted get bigger.
I love sunflowers too ~ so sunny and vibrant! Great shot.
I've always loved sunflowers, but I didn't get any planted this year with being away from home so much and weird weather. I hope the seeds will still be viable next season.
Fabulous shot Paulie!!
In response to your question on my blog about posting the larger pics....I do believe they will take up more space....so I will probably use up my "blogger" space sooner.
