My camera stopped working -- the shutter would not open. The store tells me it is not the battery but I just don't know. So, I haven't taken any photos for over a week now. I miss it. The tulips are blooming like crazy now and I have nothing to capture their likeness. I haven't decided what to do about a new camera yet. I only had this one 4 months but I did get about 4500 photos taken with it. We have had some weather in the 80's and I have no camra for my walks. . . Turtle Place is ahvign its grand opening May 1st. . . what to do, what to do. . .
Just this week, a friend sent me back a few flower photos I had taken several years ago. That is what I am sharing with you today. I cropped them so the photos enlarge a bit bigger than here but not full scale. I hope you enjoy them since I haven't used them on a blog before.

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

We call those flowers with the same word here, Iris; The ictures are really lovely. I'm surprised to see a red iris, I never saw one before;
I really hope you'll find a solution for your camera. We do so much with them that it's difficult not to have them anymore. Have you tried to ask in an other shop for help?
Gorgeous! I hope you can get your camera fixed real quick. I know I'm addicted to mine!
It was a pity to hear that you have camera problems again, but I hope that you'll soon be up an shooting again. Meanwhile - the "old ones" were a very good substitute - I liked the way you had cropped them and concentrated on the essentials.
PS Thank you for the nice comment! The pictures were in fact taken with my small point-and-shoot Panasonic. I hadn't brought a large camera since I was travelling light.
It should be under warrantee. My little Casio got fixed for free. Look into it.
Very pretty Iris. You know these would look good on a card.
Sorry about your new camera. What about buying a disposable one until you decide about another option. They make very good photos and that way you wouldn't miss taking shots on your walks. I know they aren't digital so no instant photos but it is a suggestion for a temporary solution.
Hugs,
Mama Bear
I love iris . . . they always seem special since they're cousins to orchids!
I hope you solve the camera issue soon; you're a tailor without a sewing machine, or surfer without the internet!
Elaine
Those are gorgeous irises!
