It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .

Saturday, I made a wreath for my door and one for a friend too. The one with the white bow and snowflakes is mine and the red and white bow is on Roberta's door. They came out really different as the people at church who gathered the different greens got some unusual ones this year. . . so I experimented.CLICK on to see details -- especially the snowflakes on my wreath's ribbon.

Hi Perbs,
Everyone seem seems to be getting their decorations up. I like those wreathes. Last year I bought one from my Grandchildren's preschool. How long does your fresh wreath typically last? Mine was outside in Denver, but in a couple weeks it was very dry.

They look great Perbs. A fresh green wreath would not last long here with our hot drying winds and soaring temperatures. Because of this, our wreaths if fresh, often incorporate the sage colours of the Australian bush, with banksias and gum nuts. This all dries very well and lasts.I would like to experience a cold Christmas overseas, but would miss family.

The wreaths are gorgeous. I love the atmosphere--the mood and attitude and spirit combine to be what the season is about. No need to shop!

Well, I can't find a single wreath hanger and I know I have several. So, I've not put my wreath out yet. Yours are very pretty. I might dress mine up a little more. I just have the green and a bow right now.
Did you see my cards?

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
