Long may she wave no matter the weather. . .

Today we will begin our Veterans Day celebration with a parade, followed by a special ceremony at the VA cemetary. I hope to attend both. The weather is not going to be suitable for the parade but it will go on rain or shine just as the Veterans served our country and deserve this recognition. November 11th will officially be Veterans Day.

Enjoy your day!
We don't have flags flying everywhere, it always amazes me in the USA.

I know how much you enjoyed this last year.
My club made 60 bows to go on wreaths which the Veteran's museum is placing on the veterans graves in our county. I don't know how many wreaths there will be. Our bows were just a small contribution.

I don't think enough people have the respect for this holiday. I'm so glad that you're honoring it.

Hubby had forgotten until he saw all the flags, then he hurried to put ours up. I told him the bloggers remembered.

I have an award for you, stop by my blog and see if you want to participate.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
