Cactus on fence corner

I was out on a walk and spotted this in a neighbor's yard. Nice decorative corner -- I am just wondering how it manages in the snow when winter comes. . .

That is a picture I will never be able to take :-) - not here at least.

It can be cold in a desert too, so maybe it will turn out well.

those kinds of cactus are almost indestructible! they grow everywhere, in any conditions, and resist to every thing! we have plenty of them around here, too much, i'd even say!

That's a great shot. The cacti are neat.

Wow, I never saw a cactus growing out of the ground before. Of course, I've never been to a desert either. I've seen many in planters, but none in the ground. I hope it makes it through the winter. Please report back to us on that.

That was a terrible week for me, finally it was over. I was on call to go China for company work, and Blogspot and Facebook can't be accessed there...Nice to come back Singapore, nice to visit your blog again, and I didn't know my "Life as I see it" the link never up, I was left on the day, in the rush...
Well, will take times to read what I have missed in your previous posts.
Cheers.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
