New pinecones. . .beauty in themselves!


While looking around to photograph FALL things, I discovered these.

Of course, I had to try a closer look. . .

One year I photographed some pine cones from week to week as they grew. Unfortunately I don't know where the photos are now.

Nice, a different view of fall. Sometimes we forget there is more to the season than red, yellow and orange.

There lovely. Sitting here in Chinchilla Ca with the wind and the rain, Had to find a rv park early as the winds were bad and then the rain, started out with a dust storm home in a few days i hope.Thanks for checking in on me its been a long summer without blogging

I never have chance to see so lovely pine cones yet as when it is still so fresh. We use dried brown pine cones for Christmas.
