This is one of my favorite flowers and I haven't spotted many this year so I treasure these. Hope they bring a little joy to your heart and a smile on your face!
For a treat, CLICK on this one to enlarge. . .
This is as close to a macro as I could get with my camera until I learn to handle it better. IF you CLICK on it and enlarge it, you will see many fine details and it will be worth your extra time. . .

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

They are just beautiful!
A great set of pictures... I grow sunflowers many years ago in my small garden... I must do it again soon.. if only to capture their beauty as you have here...
Gorgeous sunflowers! They sure are graceful, generous flowers, aren't they?
It brings sun into the homes! what a joyful flower! I understand why it's your favorite!
It's so nice to see all these photos of sunflowers, since they didn't do very well here this year because summer was so cool.
So very beautiful and thank you, they gave me a smile! :) A very good close-up, if you don't have a macro lense! Enlarged they are so lovely! Have a nice day! :)
Ah! I love them! My Mum gave me a huge bunch for my birthday. I had to finally throw them away last week. :-( Lovely shots.
These yellow blooms do bring a smile to my face. It's cold and raining here in Denver and snowing in the mountains.
Beautiful, bright shots.
Those are so pretty and so good for the birds.
I played around with my blog and have gone back to the way it was, I think. I like the colored backgrounds but they do take to long to load. I should have changed all of the font colors to get it right but I think I'll just leave it like this.
Anni is working on some more headers for me but I think I'll omit any background.
Mama Bear
These are utterly amazing.
Your pictures are great. I love sunflowers!
What gorgeous sunflowers! Every year I think about growing them, then just never get around to it.
