I haven't seen the full moon for months because of clouds or rain or I forgot to look so tonight, I saw an almost full moon and tried to take some photos of it. Tomorrow will be a full moon but we are expecting rain so who knows if it will be visible. . .
Aha! So you thought the moon was round. . . NOPE!
OK, so I take strange photos with my new camera.
Speaking of strange -- How about this one? The street light was playing tricks with me. . .
OK, so here is the almost full moon as I was walking home from the Art Walk Friday night.

About Me

- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Lol, great post! I'm waiting to see the full moon right now!
You finally got it round! But I also like the others: they are strange, with a special mood.. They could be used for a cover of a murder book...Ü
I can almost "see" the man in the moon!
I am always disappointed if I know it's a full moon and it's not visible. My favourite is sighting an enormous yellow/orange moon, that looks so big you could almost touch it- it's been rare I've seen that, amd how I wish I had a good camera then!
Those are fun and lovely shots. you are doing great with the new camera. The moon is impressive.
You got it! Experimentation pays off. The shot of Jules by the campfire I took 8 until I got it right.
As for my shadow shot, I agree, I like the crevices best.
If your new camera has a manual mode, set it to normal daylight setting and you iwll get more detail of the moon. see my post of the last full moon.
Truly? It was so bright I thought it was car's head light! You must have a great lense.
Thanks for the kind comment!
Love your egg moon. :)
Looks like you're having a ball eXperimenting with your new camera. Cool shots! So, if the moon is full at the beginning of the month, will it be waXing or waning for Halloween? Hmm... Where's my Farmer's Almanac when I needs it? ;-)
The full moon is joking?! Hehe.. And in the end you got it seriously!:)Full bright moon on a night walk, what's better to come up..?! We had a walk Friday night and the moon was naerly full, and beautiful. I took some photos, but they are not in my blog.. yet.. :)
