Spring Tree Blossoms Poppin' Out
While waiting for the bus yesterday, I saw this short tree trying to bloom. . . I tried my macro shots on it and was successful only with this one. . . at least I feel I was. ( I keep getting blurry photos instead with this camera.) See the blossom pushing its way out of the tight bud? CLICK on it to see the tiny hairs on it and the rain drops!

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Ah this is so beautiful and full of promise!
You made a good cactch!it seems that the flower is pushing to get out side of the bud!Impressive to see the life moving!
Spring is here! We haven't got to this stage yet over here, but I'll look out for it.
PS Thank you for all the nice comments! All is a well as could be expected. I hope that it is with you too after the death of your brother. Such things hurt for a long time, but death is as much part of life as life itself. It is an experience that strengthen us despite all the sadness.
PPS I had indeed seen your catkins and made a comment. However, I have added to that comment, and some of it applies to this one too. Macros are fun - but difficult.
Its good to see you posting again. I like the photo of the bloom trying to open. Sorry again about the death of your brother.
Mama Bear
Magnolia? I love the furry buds that keep those tender petals safe for as long as possible.
Yes, very successful! I'm jealous. (it's my turn. LOL)
Superb shot!!
I clicked on the photo to enlarge it and was able to see the little hairs. How intriguing! You're doing a great job with the macro shots.
This is beautiful!! You wouldn't believe the blurry pictures I get.
