Blog Your Blessings
If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther
My blessing this week was getting out to walk with a friend. If I can't get anyone to walk with me, I usually go by myself but this week, a friend decided to go with me again. It is good to have someone to talk to and share nature with. We started at the trail head near Vancouver Lake. The area is called Stewart Glen. This is the trailhead for Discovery Trail. We only walked from Fruit Valley Road to Main Street along this trail and then caught a bus home. My friend says she likes to walk, but gets tired real fast. She may never believe me again when I say I am going on a short walk. Probably, to her, that's around the block once or twice. Ü Anyway, even tho it sprinkled on us a little bit for a few minutes of our hike, it was a nice day for walking because it wasn't too hot. I even managed to get a few photos of Burnt Bridge Creek, moss on a tree and some plants gone to seed.

About Me
- PERBS
- WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.
I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.
Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!
Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.
The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .

Friends are worth their weight in gold. I can imagine you strolling along that nice path talking and stopping to take photos from time to time. Nice!
I love "short walks"... good exercise and keeps you young!
Great photos... and indeed, Spring has Sprung!
It seems to be a lovely and quiet place to go for a walk.
People who never go walking are getting tired much more quickly than the one that go walking every day.
Walking is a real sport,if you do it every day;
But sometimes, it's good to go slowlier and share the walk with a friend.
What a beautiful walk you took us on, You know we don't have moss around here and i never really thought i would miss it, but you know it really is beautiful to see it when you don't have it around.
That is a very beautiful walk. I am glad you had some company! I too walk alone. It is nice to have someone to share the way with.
Wow! these are great photos! I'm not sure if I have been to your blog before but so glad I joined BYBS...
Going on a walk with a friend is one of my favorite things to do. And most of the times, these walks turn out to be anything but short. But I have had some of my best discussions with friends when I have been on one of these walks.
I really like the moss photos. Moss can be so pretty if photographed well, and you did a great job.
