Snow the last two days. . .

I like to think it was God, trying to comfort me after the loss of my brother.
It didn't last or even stick to the ground for long. . . but it was snow. Just a scant trace of it on the ground when we awoke.

I like the colors of this plant and the gentle snow that decorates it so beautifully.

Had to take a photo of it on my wool coat Monday since it melted before it hit the ground today . Other places in Washington and Oregon got much more than we did. But that makes 20 days of some snow this winter for us and quite a record for us. The Crocus are blooming here and the Daffodils are coming up so can Spring be far behind?

Hi, Paulie
I'm glad to see you back.
Time will make the same thing than the snow: it will slowly recover your sigh with a white cover..
We also had unusual lot of rain this year. Spring won't be long no more now!

Wonderful photos and thoughts. May the reminders from God continue for your brother will be with you always and forever ... just as mine is more than a decade after his passing.
Hugs and blessings,

I am so sorry to hear about your brother's passing. You have my sympathies. I had wondered if you were ill since I had not "heard" any comments from you lately since you are sometimes my only commmentor. I was worried about you but just today found time to check your blog. My husband gave me a scare. He called from his dr's office because he had chest pains earlier but they are gone now. His EEG looked clear so I am thankful.

Welcome back!

I have been away to Oslo the last few days. They had half a metre of snow on the ground there - and we have nothing (which is what I prefer).

I love seeing the snowflakes on your coat. The contrast in colors is beautiful.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
