Rain drops in fish pond

There is a little fish pond by a city office building that I like to visit when I go to the Farmers Market located on the side street in front of it. I was trying to take photos of the fish in the pond. You might see the orange and white fish if you enlarge this photo. You might also see the smiley face raindrop swirl. If you just glance at the small photo, you will see just the raindrops and the circular motions they made in the pond . . . and that's not so bad either. So, click or don't click, either way, there's something for you! Ü

I don't know how it happened, but your picture made me think of Bob Dylan's "Rainy day women". Maybe I'm just getting old.

PS Thank you for the comments!

Thank you for the compliment - most of my picture of ships are taken from my terrace.

PS I didn't quite get that one about the Odd shot in the last line of your comment to me.

As I love rain, raindrops on a pond are a lovely picture to me!
I also remember a song: "Raindrops keep falling on my head..." (burt bacharach); By the way, it's raining here , too. Strange spring...

Well, it remindedme that I had just read the account of the snowplay ranger from his last weekend for the season. Paradise had more than 18 inches of new snow over the weekend. I thought about taking the snowshoes out of the trunk.

Hmm... I always like the smell of rain while it drizzles the leaves and the soil. The crisp smell lingers and reminds me of my childhood days where I just sit and watch the clouds shower everything in sight.

I like when the ripples of the raindrops actually "meet" each other. Obviously it wasn't pouring down rain, but it was coming down at a fair clip. I hope you didn't get TOO wet!

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
