Rainbow Trout?

I was walking across a parking lot when I spotted this oil stain and of course I had to take a photo. . . I think it looks like a fish. If you enlarge it by CLICKING on it, you will see the rainbow colors better.

Hi Paulie! I'm back! You have been busy while I have been away. At 1st glance, I thought this was a pond. LOL It does look like a fish. I will catch up on previous posts later. Just wanted to let you know I am still alive but haven't had time to blog.

I think it looks like a fish too. Good find! I did an oil spot on my blog a while ago but it just looks like an oil spot. lol

Thanks for the knitting comment! It is just a simple garter stitch--super easy pattern that I've been making probably for the last 25 years a million times. This one took two balls of yarn. Loved your "rainbow trout"! What a sharp eye you have.

Yup i agree it does look like one. I would of never thought to take a photo of a grease spot.

I've walked past oil stains SO many times without actually studying them. I bet I missed a lot because of not taking the time to really look at them to see what they formed.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
