You can't have it. . . I'm hiding from you!

If you can't see the critter in this first photo, enlarge it and you will. Some computers show it darker than I can see itI was running errands today and spotted this squirrel. Before I could get the lens cap off my camera which was over my shoulder, the squirrel ran up this tree and was trying to hide from me but I caught it anyway. Ten seconds later, it disappeared. Isn't it cute with a nut in its mouth?

Yup, FALL has arrived!!!!!!!!!

The sun was shining brightly on the leaves on this tree when I took this photo. It was a closeup but not a macro. I must have moved because the background is blurred BUT I kinda like it anyway. Be sure to CLICK on it to enlarge and see the details oh so much better!

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

If you care to join us acknowledging our blessings go here: Blue Panther

My blessing this week is autumn's arrival. A few days last week, I could have sworn that summer was still upon us because Indian Summer was l strutting it's warmth.
Now, the nights are chilly and I finally was forced to shut the windows that I had opened when the first days of spring arrived and hadn't closed since. Now, I am thrilled when the temperature rises during the day and hits 50!

Most of all. I now eagerly watch the trees changing colors and enjoy the spectacular beauty the colored leaves provide for me before the cold winter signals its arrival.
This weekend, I saw pumpkins in street gardens and at the Farmer's Market.
I saw sunflowers in full bloom!
I have to admit that AUTUMN is officially here.

POST SCRIPT. . .

With God's help, I finished the other quilt in time. It isn't perfect but it's finished and will warm one little girl it was made for.

Signs of Fall . . .

We have been enjoying some hot days the past week or so. Today might be the last of them. After a brief shower last week, I took this photo of a leaf with water droplets and seed pods. CLICK on to enlarge for the water drops beauty.

About Me

My photo
WELCOME to my blog. I hope you will return often.

I am on my third digital camera, all Olympus. I enjoy using it and sharing my photos. I also enjoy writing. I hope to share a little of each on this blog. My main blog is Postcards From the Northwest.

Kerri and I will continue to add benches to "For the Love of Benches Continued . . . " blog also. It is good to continue to share with her!

Continuation of the Kiggins House Re-model photos were lost when my computer crashed.

The latest city project, TURTLE PLACE, will unfold here as I have time to add photos. It is complete and maybe I can find enough photos someday to show you the final results. Next project after the two I am working on now. . .
